SMS included on every plan

SMS reminders, included.

No surcharge tier.

TableNest is the online booking platform where SMS messaging — confirmations and reminders — is included on every plan, priced from $19 to $69 USD per month, flat. Every plan includes 240 / 720 / 1200 / 2400 SMS messages per month by tier (covering booking confirmations and 24-hour reminders; 2-hour reminders add on Pro and Pro+), the embeddable booking widget, and a printable run sheet — no separate SMS surcharge tier, no per-message top-up forced on the venue at signup; Square POS integration, Xero invoicing and deposits on Stripe or Square are included from the Business tier up. SMS reminders typically reduce no-show rates from 15–20% to under 5%, recovering one to three covers per service that were otherwise paid for in food prep but never arrived. There are no per-cover commissions and no contracts. TableNest is launching for hospitality venues in the US — register your interest to get early access at launch. TableNest is operated by Fyrge Lab Pty Ltd. SMS is treated as core to a booking, not as an upgrade.

Hitting your weekly SMS cap shouldn't mean a tier-jump, a per-pack overage, or watching no-shows climb. Every TableNest plan ships with booking SMS, automated 24-hour reminders, and a one-tap cancel link — bundled in, not metered against you.

Booking confirmation, 24-hour reminder, one-tap cancel — every booking, every plan.

SMS messages on every plan

Booking confirmations + 24-hour reminders, covered by your monthly SMS allowance with no per-message charge. 2-hour reminders add on Pro + Pro+.

  • Confirmation sent the moment a booking is created
  • 24-hour reminders default on (cuts no-shows ~30%)
  • 2-hour reminders available on Pro + Pro+
  • Covered by your monthly SMS allowance — no separate budget

Automated 24-hour reminders

Fixed-template reminder sent on schedule. Ready out of the box, no per-message bill.

  • Auto-fires 24 hours before the booking
  • Cuts no-shows by reminding diners while they're still planning their day
  • No manual sending, no missed reminders
  • Same one-tap cancel link as the confirmation

One-tap cancel link in every SMS

Diners cancel by tapping a link, not by replying. Cancelled slots free up immediately for waitlist or new bookings.

  • Tap-to-cancel — no phone call required
  • Slot opens to your waitlist instantly
  • Cancellations land in your dashboard the moment they happen
  • Same link works on the email reminder too

You choose: SMS or free email

Every message is yours to toggle. Keep SMS where it cuts no-shows, switch to free, unlimited email where it doesn't — so you only spend SMS where it pays off.

  • Switch confirmations or 24-hour reminders between SMS and email in Settings
  • Email confirmations + reminders are unlimited on every plan — and free
  • Email-only bookings (staff-entered, walk-ins) never touch your SMS cap
  • Spend your SMS allowance only where it lifts no-show rates

The maths if your current platform meters or tier-jumps you

  • Tier-jump: some platforms bump you to a $99 or $149 plan once you cross 80–100 SMS/mo — $50–80/mo extra to get reminders you already had.
  • Pack overage: others charge $20–70/mo for an SMS pack on top of the subscription, often capped at a fixed message count, with per-message overage if you blow through it.
  • Per-message metering: a few charge $0.10–0.20 per message — at 200 covers/wk × 4 SMS/booking, that's $300–500/mo on top of the subscription.
  • TableNest: $19 / $34 / $49 / $69 a month, capacity 240 / 720 / 1200 / 2400 SMS messages (confirmations + reminders alike). Top-up packs from $3. Email-only bookings unlimited on every plan.

Common questions

Are SMS messages really included on every plan, or only the top tier?

Included on every plan. Starter at $19 includes 240 SMS messages per month, Business at $34 includes 720, Pro at $49 includes 1200, and Pro+ at $69 includes 2400. SMS is treated as a core part of the booking experience, not as an upgrade or add-on tier. The number of SMS per month is the main variable across tiers — most booking, CRM, and integration features are identical across plans.

Do SMS reminders count toward my monthly limit?

Yes. Every SMS TableNest sends — the booking confirmation, the 24-hour reminder, and the 2-hour reminder if you have those reminders enabled — counts toward your monthly SMS allowance. If you turn reminders off, only confirmations count. Email reminders are unlimited and never count. As a rough guide: with 24h reminders on (the default), each booking sends 2 SMS, so the Business 720 allowance covers about 360 bookings. With both reminders on, each booking sends up to 3 SMS, so Pro's 1200 covers about 400 bookings.

What happens if I run out of SMS in a month?

Email-only bookings continue working — they're always unlimited. SMS messages pause until your next billing cycle, or you can buy a top-up pack ($3 / $6 / $12 USD — SMS quantity scales with your plan). On Pro+ tier, auto-overage is on by default — extra SMS bill at 2¢ each automatically so reminders never get skipped. Starter, Business and Pro can opt into auto-overage from the SMS settings page (off by default).

Can I control which messages send by SMS?

Yes, on every plan. In Settings you can switch each message type — the booking confirmation and the 24-hour reminder — between SMS and free, unlimited email (the 2-hour reminder toggle is on Pro and Pro+). Email equivalents never count toward your SMS allowance, so you can keep SMS for the messages that cut no-shows and use free email everywhere else. You only ever spend SMS where it earns its keep.

Can I use my own SMS provider (Twilio, MessageMedia)?

Not on the current plans. SMS runs on TableNest's own delivery infrastructure, which is what makes the included-on-every-plan pricing possible. Bringing a third-party SMS provider would require per-message billing on the venue's side and would increase the monthly cost. The included SMS allocation is calibrated for the typical booking volume at each plan tier.

What does the SMS confirmation actually say?

Each SMS confirmation is short, plain text, and includes the venue name, the booking date and time, the party size, and a link the guest can use to cancel if plans change. Reminder SMS sent before the booking follow the same format. Templates are fixed by TableNest to keep messages within the 160-character SMS billing unit and to avoid Unicode characters that would double the SMS cost.

Do SMS reminders actually reduce no-shows?

Yes — the effect is large and consistent. Venues using SMS reminders typically see no-show rates drop from 15–20% to under 5%. For a restaurant taking 30 bookings a week, that recovers 3 to 5 covers per week that were otherwise paid for in food prep but never arrived. The included SMS allocation pays for itself in recovered covers within the first weekend on most weekend-trading venues.

Are SMS sent to international numbers?

SMS is sent to US mobile numbers on Starter, Business, Pro, and Pro+ plans. International SMS to numbers outside the US is handled by email confirmation by default; venues with regular international guests can request international SMS routing via support@tablenest.app, which is reviewed case-by-case because international SMS is priced higher than domestic and may push the venue into a different SMS allocation model.
